  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Italian bread crumbs
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 package of original Hawaiian rolls (12 count)
  • 4 slices American cheese (or cheese of your preference)
  • 3 slices of bacon (optional)
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickle, lettuce, tomato)

Time to cook!

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Use a 3-quart glass casserole dish, and knead raw meat, breadcrumbs and salt and pepper together.
  3. Press evenly so that the entire bottom of the dish is covered in a layer of meat.
  4. Cook for 15-17 minutes (depending how pink you like your burgers).
  5. Once cooked through, place 4 slices of cheese on the meat. Place back in oven for one minute to melt.
  6. Cut into rows of 4 and columns of 3. Slice Hawaiian Rolls in half. Soak up any grease on paper towel before placing on Hawaiian Rolls.
  7. Place bacon atop burger slices and then the bun.
  8. To make it look fancy, I placed one pickle on top and stuck a toothpick through the burger to hold everything together.
